Jordan aka "Polo" the founder of A.W.O.L (All Walks of Life)
Inc. chose poetry and hip-hop as the organization vehicle for positive
self-expression. While Polo is maintaining the day to day operations,
he surprises most people during his performances; his crafty deliverance
described by an old soul influences the movement throughout the
poetry & hip-hop community in Savannah, Ga.
While performing at Savannah State University a wise man stated to Polo "Man ...you moved my spirit". It's comments like that, that fuels this artist from within and continues to leave a everlasting consciousness to cultivate the movement of his pen.
He has a talent for recruiting artists like MAFAMADIX, RASHNL, MOSES BROWN, BALANCE, COREY HOPPS, & FERN ILLEDGE - without a doubt the most electrifying group he's ever worked with in Savannah.
In 1994 he discovered the love for the arts and went on to attend Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia. Savannah was the birth of AWOL Inc. his mission in 1997 was and still the same as today to promote and provide self-awareness through the use of Poetry-Hip-Hop & Life. It is his belief that God found Tony Jordan through the arts and many others throughout the inner cities of America. A.W.O.L Inc has always been a way of life to him same as Hip-Hop to the African American culture, better yet the WORLD.
