Tiffany M. Walter, a Savannah of native, started her volunteerism with AWOL, Inc in 2005. Her areas of expertise are in fundraising and development by day, but an R&B/soul singer, writer, and actress by passion. Tiffany brings uniqueness to the group with her charisma, enthusiasm, and charm. She considers herself a “lyrical maestro” when she eloquently recites her poetry and lyrics. She writes from the heart and soul and puts her all into her creative ability. Tiffany captivates her audience with an infectious demeanor that permeates the hearts and souls of all who graces her performances. Her soulful alto/tenor vocal range flows evenly over the musical tones with precision and confidence.
Tiffany believes that being a “living example” to young people helps restore the family and community. She works tirelessly to motivate and inspire youth in this community to be creative, be peer and self motivators, and have fervent faith in their dreams. All things are possible if you have the five P’s: Proper Planning, Preparation, Positivity, and much Prayer.
Tiffany is a 2002 graduate of Mercer University in Macon, GA and is currently employed at Savannah State University in the Office of Institutional Advancement. While at Savannah State she serves in various capacities outside of her office, such as advisor to numerous student organizations, new student mentor, an instructor for the Freshman Year Experience program, and campus liaison for the SSU Athletic Booster Club. Away from SSU, Tiffany is very active in her church congregation where she serves as Co-Director for Children’s Church Ministry and Assistant Church Clerk.
